Meet Julia Schimautz, an artist and graphic designer who loves designing everyday objects just as much as she loves experimenting with color in her work. She takes the simplicity of symmetry and creates harmony through line art, graphic prints, patterns, and shapes. She is also part of DTAN Studio, a creative and design studio based in Berlin.

Some notable brands that she has worked alongside include Adobe, Apple, Bloomberg, Burberry, Fender, Figma, Hermès, K2, Netflix, Nike, The New York Times, Universal Music, and others.

Her popular playing cards use Risograph printing, featuring vibrant color combinations, grainy printed textures, slight color misregistration, analog imperfections, and a retro-inspired appearance.
