What is LCL Approved Campaign & Usar Experience ?

I feel like both resonate with me the most when it comes to fashion brands now—specifically, brands that do things with the intention of not just posting to post. They’re supposed to have a sense of wanting to be seen in the light they choose.

What I mean by that is intentionally describing what the process looks like, intentionally showing the process behind a campaign, or creating anticipation around a photoshoot or drop. It could be a flyer telling people to meet somewhere, a livestream, or even small breadcrumbs that have the audience searching for what this new collaboration could be.

The course of this last month, I’ve been on a mission to really get back into the roots of my styling. I used to go on the internet and search everywhere to find the best, most unique, small, up-and-coming, and on-the-rise streetwear brands. They may not be featured during Fashion Week, but they still create so much relevance within today’s culture.

I personally love seeing them because it’s a great documentation of how things change each year. It’s like when I see old-fashioned looks and think, “Wow, I remember when style used to look like that.” It used to be so bold and heavy on logos, with vibrant colors. Now, we’re seeing more soft earth tones, patchwork, details, and unique cuts. I think what interests me is seeing who has the most unique and talked-about packaging, construction, and design.

I also love seeing who gets the most press and how they build their storytelling, like the way Raven Reviews sets up her YouTube series to explain the process. I could go on and on.

So, of course, as the Love Chic Lifestyle format goes, I decided to make another series.

This series is very special because it’s the first series I’ll be merging with my Nyla Multimedia page. It’s interesting because, for the longest time, I’ve kept the two separate, and I still want to keep a lot of my content separate. But as I continue to grow and rise, I realize I have three different platforms with audiences who may not know about my other pages.

So, if you’re one of the first people seeing this post, feel free to become a part of the Love Chic Lifestyle family. We’re really cool around here, and you’ll get all the extra updates on editorial finds.
