The ceramic brunch combo came from wanting to create a home-based lifestyle look. After seeing hundreds of photos of how people create these aesthetic lifestyle homes, I realized that while you don’t necessarily need these items to create that environment, they are beautifully designed works of art. Ceramics have a story to tell, whether it’s through deviled-egg mini plates or the chic details of a salad bowl.

More than anything, these pieces can become conversation starters. Would I ever use some of these items practically? Maybe, maybe not. But they’re beautiful for intentional photography, photoshoots, and simply starting conversations. They’re also something you can collect and build into a beautiful world of what modern fine china could look like.

It doesn’t necessarily have to be traditional fine china. There are people creating this type of work, like Mini Maniac Designs, where the pieces make you feel like you’re being served a plate of food before the food is even on it. That was my take on creating this look.
