Self-love to me means working hard and improving on everyday skills while still saying ” I need a break”
I want to keep this short and sweet. I came together to go to a list. I hope it will make someone’s day or be a reference for more positive things. I put together some of my favorite quotes.
1. Reading motivated books
I love and enjoy reading but I never seem to hun ave time so when I do I plan on reading my ” Get you Sh*t Together book”. I highly suggest it because it teaches you how to do well at things you may have thought it was not possible. It is so relatable and funny it feels like a best friend giving good advice.
2. A good cafe comes with good “tea”
What does that mean you may ask? Going to a cafe with me and a few close friends and talking about all of the tea in our lives is personal for me so cleansing. It doesn’t even need to be a cafe just a private place to sit and chat and LET GO!!
“Tea”(slang): giving a series of honest opinions to a group of good best friends. All about problems or just things in life that may be sitting on your mind.
3. Go to Lush and give yourself a spa Treatment
I love Lush! The smell, the people, the product, the environment, the packaging.. the list can go on. If I can describe Lush in 3 words it would be a “bottle of happiness”. The shower gels to the bath bombs. But mostly known for the bath bombs and bubble bars. If you don’t have a Lush nearby watch a good review video (hear a some below) and please buy some.
You know how some foods make people feel a kind of way (good way). The same thing for me and Lush products plus that make perfect gifts.
4. Catch up
We are all busy people. I am a busy sophomore in high school you be in school or work or even at home. I always feel like their is never enough hours in a day. I plan the weekend to binge-watch and what I say “catch up” on all the television shows and YouTuber chats I have missed.
5. Sleep
I say I am a ” night owl” or a nocturnal animal a person who likes staying up late. To be honest, I am the first person who feels like I do this to myself feeling alive at night and struggling to get up in the morning. It is hard.
6. Everything art
I love painting to drawing and listening to music. Not only is it a calm way to keep the body at ease, but it is also a form of therapy.
