Rolling Stone Africa describes ” Dakar Fashion Week on Gorée is more than a show.It is a homecoming. A resurrection. The notable artist stemmed across the DFW were from Egypt and Congo to Bibas Bissau. My hopes for the DFW as someone that did a Branding project descring the connection of Dakar Fashion Week and sustainablity and culture. The group project features a few looks where I mentioned different designers centered in Dakar. Below are the images.

For the future I wish to see more exposure of Dakar Fashion Week I wish there was more media coverage and details of the artists/designers at DFW. But I love that people are spreading its light. I can’t wait to see the pieces for the future.
