Fragrance Wardrobe ( F.W) Worthy Part 2

The important note in consistency that I’ve seen across the different fragrance brands is that they want to tap into the youth culture. Different ways fragrance can bring back a memory or moment in time. Not just using words that describe the scent of the fragrance. But what I saw that was critical was the story that each of the fragrance designers or creators behind the fragrance describes the essence of the perfume.

Valentino

This women’s fragrance tells a story of individuality and self-expression. Purple Melancholia delivers a reflective and comforting scent—perfect for those seeking a nostalgic ease in their fragrance wardrobe.

The scene is nostalgic for the sweet yet sour scents for people who love this essence. As Valentino is known for the luxury fashion house they take a more scent-based approach.

Skyler

“Pomegranates have always meant more than just sweetness, they’re a symbol of strength, abundance, beauty. That’s the spirit I poured into this fragrance. This isn’t just a scent. It’s a blessing. I can’t wait for you all to love her as much as I do! Wishing you a sweet year.”—Love Leah Kateb

While Skyler by Leah is based on the symbolism and the changes in her journey. The more personal experience of the pomegranate influence in a scent.

Kayali

“Growing up I was captivated by pear fragrances, their innocence and luminosity. That note transports me back to carefree days when everything felt possible. I wanted to bottle that feeling—the warmth of sunlight on skin, laughter echoing in the air, and a gentle sweetness that feels like magic.”—Mona Kattan

I have never seen a pear as a leading scent so it was interesting reading Kattan’s take on the Kayali Eden fragrance. The gentle and light feeling is also innocent. The approach of scents with the memories and emotional attachment.
