Building a Dopamine Menu with me

In today’s day and age everything seems so fast pace. When you think things are still for too long they just keep on moving. Today I wanted to change up from the typical post by trying the newest trend or incorporation in the Wellness day to day. If you have time that you like to spend your break or you want to do less at certain things like scrolling on social media.

The Dopamine Menu is a series of things not in any particular order that help to realize your stress and improve on the day to day life. I will go through my day if I was free and going through my day using parts of my dopamine menu.

Morning 8-12pm ( Appetizer )

If I were to add to my morning routine I would drink more lemon water. I typically try to stretch for 10 minutes or less. I don’t do yoga but a full body stretch. Before eating breakfast I can start opening up my lungs with the lemon water but hot. Tracking the things you do on a day-to-day basis building a collection of journal notes is fun as well.

Evening 12-4pm ( Entree )

The three things that stood out to me are to call a friend, read a book, and explore new music. In the midst of good music to work, I try to complement listening to a record with studying new languages. It’s exciting yet you develop a lot of patience. When it comes to my newest platform 27 Stingray Club. I listen to new music and artists and put people on to it. I would listen to the latest albums and songs for the new post. Calling a friend and texting is something I try to implement because time gets away from everyone. The current books that I have been reading are focused on Fashion journalism and branding. As someone who loves to annotate, it’s hard with my library books to o just do a series of post it. But my goal is to read at least 13 books a year. The book I’m currently reading is Julid Brandford Fashion Journalism and Second Edition The Road to Luxury The New Frontiers in Luxury Brand Management by Ashok Som and Christian Blanckaert.

Mid day 4pm-7pm

After I go through and call my friends and do different details of my day. Even though, these aren’t over the top it’s the consistency in doing them. I spend at least 30-1 hour a day doing language learning. They mention music and plan my week. The thing I want to be more aligned with in the mid day time or end of the day is reading. After going through and posting content. For me, I want to disconnect. I would rather spend 30 minutes or focus on 30 pages of reading.

On the other hand, watch reality TV or TV shows. I think it’s the most inlighting experience just watching tv I get so ingulfed with YouTube. I would like to spend time watching you tube.

Night 7pm- 11pm

At night my main goal is to always go to sleep earlier than the typical time. In the midst of juggling my school work and the social media platforms. I want to plan a day off close to a chill rest day. I can just watch a movie and wind down take a bath or have a chill day doing other things.
