LCL Report: 3 Shifts I want to see in Fashion/Beauty & Lifestyle Industry in 2026.

As 2026, is coming to a close and I previously turned 23 on November 27th. I’m at the point in my work where I have been focus on analysis of changes and shifts; that can happen in the next generation. The one leading example is age and how the “ 20s demographic” shouldn’t be the only people that’s glamorized.

I want to see the rise of models that have vidaligo. I believe it shouldn’t be just Winnie Harlow as someone with vidaliago. This connects to appearance youth culture and seeing people that look like them. I only can remember seeing any model with vidaligo that relate to beauty skincare or makeup. My thoughts on this is that representation in all area is good. I rather see a rise in fashion luxury. The more represented on print magazines and runways the closer the connection people will have .

The second is models that reference the body size range on the there website. I can’t stress enough how much I love seeing that there from the brands I style looks isn’t just up to a 6 or a large. (Other the expectation few.) However, on the models is open a 5’8 to 6 ft model that represents 2 or 4 size in USA. This is how I started going into fashion illustrations because I don’t see the same piece on a size 0 as I do on size 8 or XXL. The only other place I see this is in lingerie or back a few years ago having a “ plus”. This wasn’t my favorite statement when in talking about someone of large size. However, still the representation of the fashion and the models was there.

The third and final thing is breaking age stigmas. The few methods that I want to see this is creative marketing strategies like the Dermolgica office conversations and small skit. Details that mimic the street wear photography seeing in the streets as they younger generations.

These is the top 3 shifts that I want to see in models for the future from 2026 and beyond.
