Miami Summer Heat – Soho House Beat

The summer heat with the urge to escape traveling to another country with a goal of the perfect staycation vibe. Finding a place where it mixes the essence of a staycation but the beauty of traveling was the Soho House. The Soho House started in 1995 with several global locations featuring a little bit of everything in a staycation in one package.

The Miami location inspired by the 1940s Art Deco and Cuban Heritage. Wellness and skincare go hand and hand and the Soho House Miami Beach location members are offered few amenities of Cowshed Spa, gym, dining, event space, beach, and rooftop pool. All the parts of the house are facilities that bring the comfort of home to a specific destination where someone can enjoy the wellness aspects while their skin is glowing in the process.

When I first started this look the plush pillow accents from Maison Margiela Glam Slab Bag remind me of home. I wanted a bag that connects to the aesthetic of a spa. I started with the mini exfoliator by Dermalogica focus on the skincare concerns of “ fine line, wrinkles, pores, uneven texture” but includes colloidal oatmeal that hydrates and helps reduces redness. Then the SOS Redness Recovery Moisture by Tower 88 Beauty features 4 different types of hyaluronic acids design to help sensitive skin hydrate and smooth the skin barrier. These were the products that built the bases of the skincare looks with a sprinkle of kombucha, for long days out on the beach or focus on relaxing.

Kombucha isn’t just a acidic drink with nice packaging. It features health benefits internally. According to Women’s Wear Daily features probiotics that helps the digestive system and the acid that helps to prevent the wrong type of bacteria in the digestive system. The external benefits for the skin include preventing exposure to pollution, and effects of oxidation stresses with Fresh Mini Kombucha Antioxidant Facial Treatment. For the lips I choose the Fenty Beauty clear glass bomb and put all the products in the vintage 2006 monogram pre owned Louis Vuttion denim pouch. I kept with the early 2000s theme with the Versace vibrant Barocco scarf pair with Ibiza Loewe sunglasses for this glowing skin protected look. Every beauty look isn’t complete without its accessories and jewelry. I doubled the earring with pink Marni dice and Emerald M jewerly earring. Every look is handled and styled with care of the visual experience created by me. This glowing skincare look paired with the Soho House focuses on wellness helps to create this visual experience.
